Bodywork

I give one-on-one sessions. The most basic format is a 90 min session (CAD 95), but I recommend 2 or 3 hour sessions combining more of the tools at hand.

I also give group sessions whether it is for self-massage techniques, meditation, physical and subtle inquiring of body wisdom, exploring ways of relating in a group through guided exercises.

My journey into the mysteries of the body as a conscious exploration started with Yoga in my early twenties. Later I discovered Qi gong which has become my daily practice and infuses my way of living.

The love of body’s wild knowing, its wisdom and creativity brought me naturally to explore dance, and various somatic therapies. I have been trained as a 5Rhythms dance teacher.

My first encounter with a real conventional type of meditation came quite late in this journey. I went to a first ten-day Vipassana initiation in 2010 and committed to that specific meditational tool for a couple of years. Later my meditation tools have taken various faces in various phases, buddhist, daoist, now turning towards ways not anchored in tradition or fixed in form or method, but sourced from body intelligence and specificity of the present moment.

In 2011, I graduated from KinéConcept in Kinetic Swedish Massage Therapy with additional training in the osteopathic Craniosacral Therapy.
A big fan, at the time, of Tom Myers’ fascia release techniques, the Finnish Kalevala traditional healing by joint and bone manipulation (kalevalainen jäsenkorjaus), Carlos Castaneda’s magical passes, the range of my interest broadened to include shamanic, indigenous and more scientific western ways.

The journey has now taken me to Qi gong and learning treasures of Chinese Traditional Medicine. These are extraordinary ways I am discovering, of understanding and living the body.
